Having successfully completed the first phase of major structural repairs to the iconic six storey Cooper’s Building in Liverpool, Williams Tarr are now well under way on the £3.2 million second phase for Aviva Investors.
Located on Church Street, Liverpool’s main pedestrianised shopping area, the building is occupied on the lower floors by the busy River Island store. The new project will run until June 2017 and involves extensive structural repairs and refurbishment to various elements of structure including the masonry and steel frame on the South and West elevations, and the roof structure.
