New purpose-built 25,000 s.f. flagship retail store and garden centre for Home Bargains, the highest ranking discount retailer. The striking elevations feature Rockpanel wood grain effect rain screen cladding, expansive curtain walling and a bold entrance tower.

Three new retail POD units situated on the perimeter of the park immediately adjacent to the busy Kingsway A664 trunk road. The project scope included associated external works, new drainage and services infrastructure, car park and vehicle entrance re-modelling.

A new design and build showroom and store developed by HD Properties LLP for long-established kitchen manufacturer Magnet. Located prominently at a junction on the busy Edge Lane main route into Liverpool, construction logistics were quite challenging as the building sits tightly against the back of the public footpaths.

When opened in 1971, “Shopping City” was the largest enclosed shopping centre in Europe. The original ceramic tiled elevations were delaminating and required stabilisation and over-cladding with a combination of composite cladding panels, terra cotta rain screen cladding and coloured rendering.

Williams Tarrr have successfully delivered numerous new build, remodelling and refurbishment projects for USS on this major retail and leisure park. Projects include new units for Currys/PC World, Halfords, etc., and progressive reconfiguration of existing units and façades including new entrance towers, often whilst tenants remained trading.

Whilst the units were trading, a new façade was superimposed on to the existing retail frontage. The design minimised penetrations and avoided the risks of weather ingress and breaches in security whilst allowing the existing retailers to maintain normal trading.

Two design and build projects to create restaurants for KFC and Nandos for Henderson Global Investors. Both units were built adjacent to the busy main spine road within the retail park and particular attention was required to maintain smooth and safe traffic management.

A mixed use scheme designed and constructed for Williams Tarr Developments on a prominent corner plot in the heart of Hale village. It comprises a Tesco Express food retail at ground floor and luxury office suites at 1^st and 2^nd floor levels.

Three new pre-let retail units designed and constructed for Morbaine Developments adjacent to M60 Junction 27. Site preparation involved the careful demolition of a terrace of Victorian shops and work to old basements. The scope included various enablement works for the incoming tenants.

An award winning 30,000 sq. ft. land mark restaurant and retail development used by Warrington Council as an exemplar regeneration project. The complex scheme involved façade retention of the original three-storey early 1900’s building.
